On October 24, the no-load linkage commissioning of the supporting pelleting project for technical upgrade and capacity reduction & replacement of blast furnace equipment of Jiangsu Xugang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xusteel Group"), which was constructed by CIE as the EPC contractor, was successful at the first attempt.

The pelletizing project of Xusteel Group is a new 1.2 million tons/year oxidized pellet production line to optimize the blast furnace burden structure and reduce the utilization coefficient of blast furnace ironmaking and the coke ratio. It is a key project of CIE, marking a breakthrough in its performance in the pelletizing EPC project in East China.
