Keep making vigorous efforts in the comprehensive utilization of solid waste from steel mills! CIEE won the bid for the Rotary Kiln Project for Comprehensive Utilization of Steel Resources of Anhui Changjiang Steel Co., Ltd.

On May 30, CIEE, a subsidiary of CIE, won the bid for the EPC Project of Rotary Kiln for Comprehensive Utilization of Resources of Anhui Changjiang Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ACS"). This is another comprehensive utilization project of iron-bearing zinc-containing dust won by CIEE after the Iron-increasing and Zinc-reducing Rotary Kiln Project of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Yongfeng Lingang Corp., the Recycle Treatment Project of Ash from Sintering Machine of Angang Group Comprehensive Utilization Company, and the Comprehensive Utilization Project of Zinc-containing Dust of XBIS.

 

A new rotary kiln disposal production line with an annual treatment capacity of 200 kt of comprehensive materials will be built in the Project, of which the treatment capacity of the rotary kiln by pyrogenic process is greater than 200 kt/a, and the dechlorination by wet process and salt separation treatment capacity is greater than 29 kt/a. The Project will adopt the combined process of " wet process washing and evaporation + zinc extraction in rotary kiln by pyrogenic process" to produce high-purity potassium chloride, sodium chloride, secondary zinc oxide and ferrous kiln residue, etc., so as to realize the comprehensive utilization of polymetallic resources. Proprietary technologies such as deep dechlorination by multi-level washing and thallium removal by multi- sulfur-based depth chelation are adopted for wet process of the Project, which can reduce investment and operation cost; For the pyrogenic process, new-generation rotary kiln technology independently developed by CIE and integrating the characteristics of "intelligence, low carbon, environmental protection, collaboration and stability" is adopted to treat iron-bearing zinc-containing dust. Improvement and optimization are achieved in the aspects of mixed pelletizing against kiln blocking, new-type waste heat boiler against blocking by high-temperature dust, water quenching and demisting, and strengthening of environmental dust removal, so as to realize the comprehensive upgrading of comprehensive utilization technology for dedusting.
