It was on August 23 that the subsidiary corporation of CIE, Hunan Zhongye Changtian Heavy Industrial Technology Development Co., Ltd. signed a EP Contract on Pelletizing Flue Gas Denitrification Project of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Iron Works with Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.

The project uses a low-temperature SCR process of 150℃. Compared with the  high-temperature SCR denitrification process in conventional sintering pelletizing, the low temperature SCR process can reduce the heating cost by more than 50%, which has considerable advantages in the operation of the project. After the implementation, the project will meet the requirements on ultra-low emission oxynitride.

It is the first time that CIE undertakes such project to applicate SCR denitrification process, while it is the first case on 150℃ low temperature catalyst denitrification project applying to the field of sintering pelletizing in China.
