In execution of the Wakayama project, CIE has applied for 25 patents developed independently by itself, now it has been granted 18 patent rights. The strong innovation ability of CIE is well reflected in the cooperation with the Japanese owner.

The Japan Wakayama 185㎡ sintering project was signed in May, 2006. On Dec 19, 2008, the project was completed and put into use according to schedule, the daily sinter output is up to 6800 t.
